Loving the Morning in Harveston!

Cool Cuts 4 Kids

I like discovering places that I think new home buyers and people looking to move to the Temecula area would love to know about. My little guy needed a haircut so I tracked down Cool Cuts 4 Kids. I had been referred to some places off Murrieta Hot Springs but I figured there would be something of its kind in the Red Hawk area so off we went!

The store was very colorful, fun, and offered a lot of things for my children to play with and look at. We got a discount on our first visit and found some great sale items. The manager, Yvette, and her assistant were very nice and helpful. Next up for a cut will be my girl – and she’s already picked out a hairstyle!

Home Buyer Support

As an agent, one of the most important parts of the home-buying process is your support network in the transaction. Michelle English, Mortgage Specialist, is one of mine. She’s always willing, knowledgeable, and available to answer my questions and that of my buyers. I go the distance and she does as well. Talk about good synergy!

(I think she was too busy on the laptop to remember that I took this picture. Shhhh…..)

MeetUp: Home Buyers & First Time Buyers – Exercise & Info

Successful MeetUp! Mortgage Specialist, Michelle English, and I had a terrific time walking around the Harveston Community and viewing some of the available homes for sale with Anthony, Sherry, and their new boy Gizmo. It was refreshing and different to go from house to house, chat about homes and financing, and just enjoy the nice morning air. We are certainly looking forward to the next one!

Our MeetUp is every second Saturday of the month. Sign up here and join us! –> http://www.meetup.com/Home-Buyers-First-Time-Buyers-Temecula

(We bring drinks and snacks, LOL!)

The Process of Light

In real estate, as with anything else in life, how we carry ourselves is a huge reflection of our values. The industry gives each agent so much freedom to shape their business into what they really want it to be. Since we are our own bosses, the possibilities are endless. At a certain point in my real estate career, however, I faced the serious task of reflecting on my values and actively deciding how I would conduct myself in this business. I came to the conclusion that I would gather all my experiences in the corporate world and all my experiences so far in life, and dedicate myself to sticking to the positive values that I paid the price to learn. For whatever reasons some of us have become jaded, lost sight of what’s right and what is wrong, forgotten who we are, and more tragically, forgotten the dreams that lit us up inside.

My goal is not perfection, per se, but to keep what I value close to me and always in my line of sight – respect, fairness, honesty, communication, kindness, and humour.
