We checked out one of the last nights of Cruisin’ Grand in Escondido this past weekend. We weren’t that hungry, just wanted to nibble on something, so we tried Vinz’s for the first time. He had been wanting to take me there.
I ordered a charcuterie of butter Havarti cheese, crackers, and yummy mixed olives. The Hubs ordered chocolate bread pudding with a side of ice cream, and we both had a cappuccino. Mine hit the spot and The Hubs was happy with his dessert and drink, “a good marriage,” he likes to say.
I don’t know how much longer Cruisin’ Grand will be held, but if you get a chance, go and see the variety of cars and pop in to sample some of the eclectic restaurants along Grand. You’ll be glad you did. 🙂

I had Jersey Mike’s Subs for the first time. I’d been seeing stores opening up around town so I wanted to try it. I must admit, I was a bit skeptical. I thought to myself, they’re all the same. Well, I ordered the chicken chipotle. One bite and I felt like I was transported to summers back East. I savored every bite. Can’t wait to go back again!
My fuel this morning with a sausage chaser during a business network meeting. Life is awesome! 😀
Yes, I was here again. Don’t be jellies!
Valle d’Brume Bakery 🙂
This is my office this morning. I really love my job! So grateful!! 🙂
After reading about the cruelty in the dairy industry, my family and I are moving toward a milk-free lifestyle. We started with this terrific little tub of deliciousness, Earth Balance’s veggie-powered butter. It tastes JUST LIKE butter — without the guilt! We get ours at Trader Joe’s for $3.99. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
My first attempt at cheese enchiladas! I can’t believe how easy it was. I don’t know why I didn’t try making them sooner! 🙂
Sometimes, it’s nice to change it up a little. I’ll just leave this here.
