Temecula Farmers Market, Wednesdays #Life #Tech #Temecula #RealEstate

If you’re looking for the hometown feels, look no further than Temecula’s Farmers Market. Every Wednesday from 900a to 100p, shop from a terrific selection of beautiful produce, delicious foods, and various products for the home.

One of my favorite vendors is Wild Rose Farms. They carry a lovely selection of natural soaps, lotions, and candles. I am now on my fourth jar of their soy candles. I bought “Creme Brulee” the last two times. They use a cotton wick so I feel guilt-free burning it in my home. Their candles make my home feel so cozy. I recommended their products to my friend and now, she’s hooked!

At the market, there are several vendors from farms that offer an amazing selection. We buy our produce and even cruelty-free and natural ground turkey from them. As a mom, I’m very happy to be able to offer my family healthy, natural, and organic foods.

Well, enough about me – hope to bump into you this Wednesday. Look for the white tents in the Macy’s Men & Home parking lot. See you then!

Betty’s Pie Whole | #RealEstate

We went to Encinitas this past weekend and tried Betty’s Pie Whole for the first time. The restaurant had so much personality, the staff was helpful and genuine, and the sweet and savory items were AMAZEBALLS. They used real butter in their pastries – You could taste the quality in each bite. We can’t wait to go again!

Pictured above is their strawberry-rhubarb pie. So good!!

East Coast Food Tour | #RealEstate

I’ve been quiet, but I’ve been busy! We went to the East Coast for our family trip this summer to visit relatives. While there, we ate at some fun spots throughout New Jersey, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and NYC. I don’t have a pic of all the yummy foods we chowed down, but I did post some photos above. 🙂

Rita’s – Evidently, there are some franchises here on the West Coast, but we regrettably never came across one. No matter though – our family took us to Rita’s every other day, LOL. Back East, they call it “water ice” and it can be mixed with their award-winning frozen, yummy custard, or served alone. After returning home, we tracked down two locations and we’ve heard of two more down south. Can’t wait to go!

Friendly’s – This restaurant is straight out of my childhood, had to take the family! They serve burgers, salads, and other items, but what they’re really known for is their amazing ice cream! The Jim Dandy is the biggest sundae. I didn’t dare touch it without assistance though so I just got small and medium sundaes – with my favorite, peanut butter. Separate times, of course, LOL.

BGR – Apparently, this is a very popular chain in the D.C. area. Their focus is specialized burgers made with high-quality ingredients. I ordered a mushroom-blue cheese turkey burger and garlic fries. So good! Their fries were insane – they’re topped with a ton of real, chopped garlic. The portions were big, we didn’t finish everything. The ambience was casual and hip, a little reminiscent of something one would find in New Orleans. The customer service was terrific, loved the crew. We’d definitely go again if we found a franchise out here.

Honorable Mention – Hoagie Haven in Princeton, NJ. Authentic, delicious, gigantic sandwiches served by a shop near the famed university. Warning – a “half” sandwich is about as big as a footlong. We took our hoagies and sat right on the lawn of Princeton University and ate underneath the trees. It was awesome.

Sushi Boat Restaurant | #RealEstate

Went to the Sushi Boat for the first time with my daughter. We had never been there though we’ve walked past it many times, exiting the mall or going to the movies. The restaurant is located near the fountain, across from Edwards Theatre.

I ordered the Spicy Chicken Yakiudon and my daughter ordered the Shrimp Roll. The food was tasty, the atmosphere lively, and the decor elegant. My daughter had eaten here several times before with friends and liked it alot. I thought to myself, what took me so long? 🙂

Ryan Bros. Coffee | #RealEstate

Stopped by Ryan Bros cafe for the first time this morning for some coffee  before doing our Easter meal shopping. I thoroughly enjoyed my cappuccino which had THICK, dry foam, and well-roasted espresso. My husband ordered a delicious mocha which he loved. We then sat outside on their patio under the umbrellas and had a lovely time chatting. The only problem with my experience at Ryan Bros is that I didn’t order a bigger cappuccino. 😉

Looking forward to visiting them again soon!
