Yesterday, we had a wonderful time doing the arts & crafts project from my October 2013 newsletter at a community room – Above are the results! The kids had fun and the pieces turned out to be quite beautiful. I really enjoyed and appreciated their imagination. We also baked chocolate chip cookies and listened to music. Other parents brought delicious pasta and beans & franks for the children (Thank you, parents!) and we got to chat as well. It was a great event and I look forward to the next project!

My Best, –Vanessa 🙂
Kudos to Principal Dixon and the Mayor of Temecula for a successful event last week, the Bike Train!
The Bike Train is for children in grades 3-5 who attend Ysabel Barnett Elementary school and have permission from their parents. Parents can also participate. The students meet at designated points around Harveston Community at 830a and together, ride their bikes to school.
I think it’s a fantastic idea that encourages kids to be in the beautiful outdoors and exercise. It also helps develop a sense of community and it’s another wonderful way to spend time and have FUN!
Successful MeetUp! Mortgage Specialist, Michelle English, and I had a terrific time walking around the Harveston Community and viewing some of the available homes for sale with Anthony, Sherry, and their new boy Gizmo. It was refreshing and different to go from house to house, chat about homes and financing, and just enjoy the nice morning air. We are certainly looking forward to the next one!
Our MeetUp is every second Saturday of the month. Sign up here and join us! –> http://www.meetup.com/Home-Buyers-First-Time-Buyers-Temecula
(We bring drinks and snacks, LOL!)
This is what I love about Harveston Community! Heads up – Santa will be visiting all the good boys and girls – and their children 😉 – on Saturday, December 3rd, at 1100 AM at the Lake House!
It’s a beautiful setting on the back lawn of the Harveston Lake House and they certainly utilize all the rooms there. In past years, they’ve had arts and crafts, games, a DJ, and yummy treats!
Hope to see you there!
Last Wednesday was our first Spaghetti dinner for families, hosted by my child’s preschool in Harveston Community. It was so fun, delicious, and well-organized! They even “seated” us at a table. How cute is that?!
What I like about this school is that it is located within Harveston so it’s walking distance, it is a very nice facility, and the staff does an amazing job! We are quite excited that we’ll be in that school and that the holidays are approaching!

The City of Temecula has opened its doors at one of the two facilities in the Harveston community. Community classes will be held at the new site making it even more fantastic to live in Harveston! The different rooms can also be rented for special events like baby showers, wedding showers, birthday parties, and more! How lovely is THAT?!
