Went to go read at the library and this was my view. How lucky are we?! 🙂
If you haven’t been in to the new Petco, put it on your to-do list! Petco’s new concept store in Temecula at the Promenade is so forward-thinking and brilliant that it really makes it a pleasure to shop for your pets. Not only is the store grander, but every area is utilized and has a purpose – There is a grooming section, cat adoption center, aquarium and reptiles area, food & treats areas, clothing section, and even a dog adoption area in the middle of the store. I was told by the Regional Manager sometime ago, that this is the first of its kind in our region. So happy they started with us! I’d post more photos of the store, but you’ll have to see for yourself!
I had the opportunity to pamper myself last week so I went to Massage Green on Winchester Rd. I saw it each time I went to Trader Joe’s and I told myself I was going to try it one day soon. I remembered that they also have a promotion for an initial, one-hour massage for only $29.95. Win-win, right? Totally right!
The facility is well-kept with lights dimmed low and serene music playing throughout the rooms. The staff was friendly, helpful, and skilled. Clients can pay per session or sign up for their membership packages. I had such a relaxing time that I’m pretty sure I dozed off for a few minutes, er seconds. 😉
After a good workout at Gold’s Gym, I was looking forward to a salad that I prepared the day before. Went to my car, put the key in the ignition, turned it and… nothing. Battery died.
I sat for a while in wonderment because I didn’t know how I was going to do all the things that I had to that day. With lots of hope, I leaned in close to my beloved car and whispered, “One more time, please.” I gave her another try and lo and behold, the car started!
I hadn’t been there before for my automotive needs, but I thought I’d give Sears a try. Heaven knows how many times we’ve passed by it. Needless to say, they did an excellent and speedy job helping me pick out a new battery and installing it. The crew was also friendly and willing to help. I give them a thumbs up! 🙂
When I first got to the area, I was glad to see Temecula had a Gold’s Gym. I used to go to the location on Ynez Rd but it closed. Fortunately, through a friend, I discovered the location on Murrieta Hot Springs Rd. Love this gym and staff! They have fantastic, hardcore equipment and fun, hardcore classes. I’ve been taking Body Combat and it is awesome. There is another location off Rancho California and Margarita that is equally nice, though not as large. The best, best part about both locations is that they offer childcare.
Hope to see you there!
There’s nothing like having a lender who has the overall good of the client in mind – no matter what.
Michelle helped at a critical point on another loan. She did it because she cared. She did it because it was the right thing to do. Michelle is a bonafide ROCK STAR!!!

I like discovering places that I think new home buyers and people looking to move to the Temecula area would love to know about. My little guy needed a haircut so I tracked down Cool Cuts 4 Kids. I had been referred to some places off Murrieta Hot Springs but I figured there would be something of its kind in the Red Hawk area so off we went!
The store was very colorful, fun, and offered a lot of things for my children to play with and look at. We got a discount on our first visit and found some great sale items. The manager, Yvette, and her assistant were very nice and helpful. Next up for a cut will be my girl – and she’s already picked out a hairstyle!
As an agent, one of the most important parts of the home-buying process is your support network in the transaction. Michelle English, Mortgage Specialist, is one of mine. She’s always willing, knowledgeable, and available to answer my questions and that of my buyers. I go the distance and she does as well. Talk about good synergy!
My kids and I adopted a new dog several weeks ago, a 120-lb Newfoundland female we named Andromeda! She’s sweet as can be and absolutely loveable. When it was time to get her groomed, I checked out The Laundered Mutt. I had seen his truck around town and the store came up on Google results so I thought I’d give it a try.
It’s a self-service dog wash and training center. The washing area has several tubs and they provide you with an apron, shampoos, and towels. The tubs are raised so it’s not back-breaking work to soap up your pup. I’ll admit, getting my new big girl in the tub was not easy and washing all that doggie-ness was a bit daunting. Fortunately, the sweet groomer was there and assured me she could do a great job – and she certainly did!
Thank you Kerry and The Laundered Mutt for making my new baby like NEW!
The Laundered Mutt is located at the corner of Jefferson and Overland.
